He completed his MBBS at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute and his MD in Internal Medicine at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bengaluru. Over the years he has served as a Consultant Physician at several leading Bengaluru hospitals — including Kauvery, Sakra IKOC, Belenus and Manipal Hospitals — and trained as an Internal Medicine and Medical Gastroenterology Registrar at Apollo Hospitals, Sheshadripuram.
