Every PGT case your lab outsources is a skill — and a salary — walking out the door.
Bengaluru · Live embryology bench · 1:1 expert supervision
Bengaluru1:1 Bench supervisionA hands-on training program for embryologists at Vriksh Fertility Academy, Bengaluru. It covers ICSI micromanipulation, Day-3 and trophectoderm biopsy, genetic-lab validation, and embryo culture and grading, with 1:1 expert supervision at the bench — so your lab can perform PGT biopsy in-house instead of outsourcing it.
The samples leave the lab, turnaround slips, margin leaves with them — and the team never builds the skill.
Biopsy is sent out, and with it your clinical control over timing and handling.
Outsourcing is a per-case charge that never converts into an in-house capability.
Embryologists don't get bench hours on biopsy, so the lab stays dependent.
Injection technique, needle handling, oocyte orientation and post-injection assessment.
Blastocyst and cleavage-stage biopsy technique, laser use, tubing and cell handling.
Sample integrity, labelling, documentation and coordination with the genetics lab.
Culture conditions, morphology assessment and grading consistency.
Supervised bench time with structured feedback on your own technique.
One trained embryologist changes what your lab can offer.

The program is designed for practising embryologists, IVF lab technicians, clinical embryology graduates, andrologists and lab directors. A background in embryology or a related life-science field is expected. If you're unsure whether your profile fits, send us an enquiry and our admissions team will advise you.
It is a hands-on, bench-based program. You work directly at the embryology bench under 1:1 expert supervision, practising ICSI and biopsy technique yourself rather than only observing.
Batches are kept small so every participant gets substantial supervised bench time. The exact batch size and bench hours are confirmed at enquiry — please reach out and our team will share the current details for your intake.
Prior ICSI experience is helpful but not mandatory. The program builds micromanipulation skills from the fundamentals through to advanced biopsy, so both newer and experienced embryologists can benefit. Tell us your background when you enquire and we'll guide you.
All training is conducted onsite at Vriksh Fertility Academy in Bengaluru, at a live embryology bench.
